Hi, I’m Ann – frequent flyer, snack enthusiast, slightly sarcastic, perimenopausal human.
I travel for work (and sometimes for fun), and I’ve learned to roll with the chaos that is “life on the road”: delayed flights, lost luggage, airport snacks that cost more than my first car.
And the dude behind you on the plane who takes off his shoes AND socks, then rests his bare foot on your armrest? WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!
I started this blog as a place to share the real stuff: minor disasters, overheard gems, unsolicited (but deeply correct) opinions, and all the ways I like to make my life just a little extra.
You never know where you’ll find me – tracking down the best coffee in a new city, working from the road, glamping on our farm, snuggling with my big, spoiled black cat Carrrl (who lends his judgment to this blog as needed); or slumping into my usual spot on American Airlines: seat 14A.
You’ll find stories here from hotel rooms, gate areas, campsites, coffee shops, and everywhere in between. Sometimes thought provoking. Sometimes self-deprecating. Often ridiculous. Always real.
Thanks for stopping by. And hey – don’t forget to hydrate!
